Our puppies are guaranteed against any physically debilitating hereditary disease or death for one full year from the date they are born. This guarantee is only provided IF the new owner takes the puppy to a licensed vet for regular check ups, fecal checks, shots and worm preventitives, and follows all care instructions from their vet for the health and welfare of their puppy.

All medical care must be provided by a licensed vet and proof of such provided to the breeder

(me, upon request. Do NOT take your new puppy to the groomer, park or other public place until they have had all their shots and your vet says it is safe to do so. Also be careful with visitors to your home until the puppy is protected by its vaccinations. *Parvo is Contagious and deadly to your puppy. There has been a large increase in parvo cases in West Michigan this year.

If a puppy should develop a debilitating hereditary disease or die prior to one year of age,

the breeder agrees to provide a replacement puppy from the next available litter.

The replacement puppy will be from the same bloodlines if possible or bloodlines of equal

value not greater value. The cause of death must be provided by a licensed vet and provided

to the breeder by the puppy owner at their expense prior to a replacement puppy

arrangement being made. Replacement can only be offered if breeder is actively still breeding. If for some reason the breeder quits breeding no replacement or cash refund will be given. IF the puppy develops a hereditary debilitating disease the puppy must be spayed/neutered with proof of such provided to me prior to a replacement puppy arrangement being made.

There will be NO cash refunds, nor will the breeder pay for any medical attention that the

puppy may require once it goes home with the new owner, as I have no control over the

care of the puppy from that point on. PLEASE seek medical care for any problem you

new family member. This is how as a breeder I am able to stop any future litters if a

health problem should develop in offspring from a breeding pair. It is my goal to produce

healthy, happy puppies that grow up to be well adjusted healthy adults with long lives.

Replacement puppies will be flown if necessary but at the expense of the person/persons

receiving the puppy, this fee will also include the vet clearance for flight, the carrier for the

flight and all flight fees.

Breeder can not guarantee how long it will take to get a replacement puppy. It depends on the

breeding schedule, sex of the puppy to be replaced, the number of deposits placed on already

expected litters and the sex/color of puppies born, and if the breeder is still in business

Of course once all deposited pups are delivered every attempt will be made to replace

the puppy as soon as possible.

Debilitating disease in this contract means any disease that is genetic.

This does not cover diabetes (diet plays a big part in developing this problem)

It is necessary to take your puppy to the vet within 24 hours of taking them home, and be

sure to take a recent stool sample with you for intestinal parasite checks. This is to assure you that your puppy is healthy and that I am not simply “just saying it”. It also provides a reference point for shots/worming etc. Please do NOT be alarmed if your puppy has worms, usually they have round worms which are passed thru the mother; I have wormed your puppy on,
